New growth emerges from wildfire ash representing hope and recovery

California Governor Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency on Tuesday, January 07, 2025, due to unprecedented wildfire activity in Los Angeles.

Our thoughts are with Concern members and providers impacted by this disaster, and we understand that the recovery period will be long and arduous for everyone affected.

To help support our valued network providers in Los Angeles and/or Ventura counties displaced by the fires, we are providing the following accommodations:.

  • Existing authorizations for counseling services are extended by 180 calendar days.
  • Contracted and non-contracted providers have 365 days from the date of service to submit a claim.
  • If Concern notifies a provider that they have been overpaid, the minimum time to dispute the overpayment is extended to 180 calendar days.
  • Providers who have been displaced due to the fires may deliver care from alternative, temporary locations.

For questions regarding these accommodations, please contact Concern's Provider Relations department at 888.805.0090 or provider_relations@concernhealth.com.
